Walk With Me (#38): Gone Fishin’
An advice column for folks who don’t like to be told what to do
Dear Everybody,
I’m taking a vacation this week from the column. Writing projects, both paid and not, have been keeping me in my chair and I haven’t seen the sun in too, too long. So, today I’m going to get a good, long walk in, and then I’m going to take care of some overdue business and file my taxes.
Not the sexiest 16-hour vacation that ever was, but necessary, and exactly what I want to be doing. If you get a chance to do what you want, and what you want leaves you better off than you were before, then there’s really nothing better, if you ask me.
